What the Amine Saidi Academy is

A flexible learning and tutoring environment

The Amine Saidi Academy (ASA) is a learning support centre for children and teenagers who need additional help alongside school.

Students work individually or in small groups, depending on their needs and current learning goals. The focus is on understanding school material, practising skills and preparing for tests and exams in a calm and supportive environment.

The academy does not operate as a traditional school with fixed classes or a rigid curriculum. Instead, learning is guided by each student’s level, pace and immediate academic needs, allowing for flexible and personalised support.

Yasmine's Story

“I used to be very shy when I had to read out loud in class because I was afraid of making mistakes. But at the Academy, everything is different. I love coming here because I get to work with the younger children sometimes. When I help them with their letters, I feel like a real teacher! It has given me so much confidence. Now, when I go back to my own school, I’m not afraid anymore. Also, the cookies we get during breaks are the best part of the afternoon!”

“Writing used to be so frustrating for me because the words never looked the way I wanted them to. My teacher at the Academy showed me cool tricks to remember the letters. Now, my notebook looks much neater, and I actually enjoy practicing my Arabic stories!.”
Youssef K.
“I have a lot of energy and sometimes it’s hard for me to sit still in a big classroom—my legs just want to move! At the Academy, they understand my 'fidgety' side. We take active breaks, and the lessons are so interesting that I forget to wiggle. I feel like I finally have a place where I can learn my way.”
Rayan S.
“The Academy is my favorite place after school. It’s not like a normal classroom; it feels like a big family. I like that there are kids of different ages here. We help each other, and if I finish my math early, I can play a learning game or share a snack with my friends. It makes learning feel like fun, not work!”
